I never ever use the VM option however I sometimes (though luckily seldom) accidently click on it... I understand FSX can lock upi when you try to use VM while running in fullscreen mode. Luckily it doesn't do that (so far) but it dows give me a black window that I can't get rid of, taking up 1/6 of the screen...

 

Is it somehow possible to lock or completely remove this option? I could do without it. ^_^

There's no way to lock it (unless I make code changes).

That's what I did yesterday but it only removed the VM interface, not the black window. And clicking on the black window minimized FSX completely. Ah well, I just have to pay more attention to where I click, I guess... ^_^

Pardon, my mistake, you can left click the "left screw" to close the black window, as described in the manual, here:
