February 12, 201313 yr I have taken off and climbed to 5,000ft as instructed. I am then given clearance to climb to cruize level FL340. Just beforehand I notice the engines at 'N1' and I'm flying nose down! Full flight plan loaded before take-off. I turn the altitude setting to climb to my new flight level but it's not climbing? I try changing the 'VS' to get it to climb to no avail. To top it all the aircraft will not gain speed as you'd expect. The engines are still roaring away in 'N1'. Flaps are up, gear up, spoiler is down. HELP? George T
February 12, 201313 yr When you say "roaring away in N1"....what is the actual N1 reading, and what is your speed? Why dont you post a screenshot of your MCP. Peter Schluter

February 12, 201313 yr looks to me that the aircraft is accelerating to 250 KIAS (white marker on the PFD) in VNAV. What happened when you reached 250 KIAS...did you climb at 250 ? TOC and TOD are very close together, not really a scenario to be using VNAV to be honest. Peter Schluter
February 12, 201313 yr Author Are you using FSUIPC, perhaps? See: http://forum.avsim.n...7-climb-issues/ Petja, Thank you, that is what the cause was, FSUIPC's latest update was the cause! It's obviously bugged. Thanks once again. George T
