February 14, 201313 yr I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with 3G with the intention of running the new VAInterface to connect with my PMDG 737NGX on fsx which is on my PC. I am using Windows 8. I have never done anything like this before so I am very green on the subject. I have already got the Vainterface on my Samsung and it looks terrific but what now I ask myself and some kind person out yonder in the web? However much to my dismay I have been told that it will not work because I do not have a Broadband connection (I have to use a Thumb drive or Dongle thingie for my Internet on the PC). Is this correct please? I thought that all I needed was a wifi dongle on the PC and a wifi router that would connect to both PC and the Note which is also WiFi. I have also posted a similar post in the router section but it seems not many people look in there so here it is also. Sorry if that is naughty!!!! :sorry: regards Richard. February 16, 201313 yr Richard, I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 with WiFi and 3G like you. From the PC side you just need WiFi and WiFi router. Windows 8 is not a problem. Just make sure during VAInterface installation to answer Yes to insert it in the Firewall list. If you are not asked this question please insert VAInterface manually in the Firewall exclusion list. It will work like a charm. Also take a look in the instructions mentioned by Adam above. Regards, Adenilson
