Hi What i mean, is that ASN and EZDOK all share the same cores that P3D is running on, should this be the case for the best performance ? Cheers

Hi all. Just looking for any help out there. I am just wondering about the cores using P3D and ASN in my set up. I have attatched a couple of screnshots of my set up. It is an i7-6700K upto 4.5GHz on Windows 10 with 8gb ram using P3D V3.2 also have a GTX 980Ti with driver 364.72 All i have in CFG is AM=85 , FFTF=0.1 and TexMaxLoad=2048 Any help greatly appreciated Adam

I love ORBX, I simply love it! Global, Vector, and if your fly in Europe, the Europe LC is fantastic. Totally changes the simulator in my oppinion. P.s, its on sale at the moment also! :wink:

Me: It would be a really nice added bonus if 64bit did happen. Reality: Just dont think it's gonna happen, realistically.

One thing I would say, as you said you needed to defrag says your on a HDD, one thing I would advise you do is get a good SSD and put p3d on that.

I have a 6700k at 4.6ghz and a gtx 980ti and couldn't be happier. If your budget will allow I would certainly go for a 6700k.

I have a i7 6700k with a GTX 980ti, haven't installed p3d yet but I hope it will give me good results.

Oh that sounds like a great monitor. I went ahead and bought an LG 34UC97C-B last week and must say I love it and can't wait to get P3D running on it. I decided against 4K, and am more than happy with this...

Dont aim for FPS, aim for a smooth sim, and start off low on the sliders and work your way up until your happy.

Hi Manny Thanks for the reply.. I dont have the simulator installed yet as its a new PC, Maybe I need to select the overclocked profile in the BIOS somewhere? I did think the same as you, it should be 46000 but as I am a noob I thought I had better check.

Good evening all, I am about to plunge in and buy P3D, I'm wondering, as it will be a fresh install on a new PC, if I am better to wait until v3.1 or just buy v3 and upgrade it when it comes out? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Evening all I am a noob with all of this I will admit. I have now received my 6700k overclocked to 4.6Ghz apparently. Ive downloaded CpuZ and can't see where it says 4.6Ghz or if it is at all at 4.6. Ive attatched the CPUZ reading and the task manager performance page. Also, I see it has 4 cores but 8 logical cores, what would be the best AM for me in P3D? Thanks for the help

Hi Ron My advice would be to not expect miracles and aim for a smooth simulator rather than watching the FPS all of the time. Its just trial and error with the sliders also, start them off low and increase until your happy and stick with it. Enjoy!

Nice looking system there indeed. I've just purchased one very similar, except I have a m.2 SSD for Win10 and a seperate SSD for P3D. I imagine it will run FSX well, but P3d even better.
