February 20, 201313 yr I built my desk very cheaply. A wooden kitchen table plate from hardware store, approx. 2,5 meters, cheapest wood, gave it a layer of white pigmented non-toxic oil, and five metal telescopic legs from IKEA. I opened the casing on my Saitek yoke, and screwed it directly into the underside of the table. And the throttles are screwed in too. Seat was for free, but wouldn´t cost much, my father in-law was formerly a car dealer, he had a Mitsubishi car seat welded on to a swivel, and it was collecting dust in his cellar. Perfect for flying, low seated, monitors are at same level with your head. The seat reclines. I also attached a wooden plate under the seat, sticking the ends out left and right, Warthog gear left and right. You could probably get the parts for cheap, and you just need to get someone to weld the car seat and the swivel. My "cheap trick" of the day lol "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
