Hey Guys.. In the owners manual for the SR22 it states that you can change the default start up values in the G1000_Config.XML file.. I found the file opened it and found the value I wanted to change.. ( Map Settings- L:G1000_MapOrientation, Want to go from North Up - 0 to Heading up -3

 

Can anyone one tell me how to change it to VALUE 3 to start up the MFD on Heading up instead of North up and ALWAYS having to change it on every flight?

 

I enclosed a copy of the XML file in this post.! If anyone can modify it and post it back here that would be GREAT! Thanks in advance!!

well replace the 0 with a 3 and save it...i did for mine too and it works perfectly..also i did repack it as a .cab file but thats not required

 

i did modify some more things however (beyond the config) so im not gonna post any files here

All done. It was a pain to work with the XML file but all done and now when I start up the SR22 heading is UP not north!!!
