February 20, 201313 yr I suffer from a sort of website amnesia, and would like to know what everyones favorite "hidden" websites are for downloading freeware addons. Im sitting here racking my brain trying to remember some, but not much luck. I do know of Barry Blaisdells site and Historic Jetliners Group, and maybe a couple more, but i know theres a ton more. Besides the main portal sites, (avsim, simviation, flightsim) what do you recommend? Computer Specs: i5-4690K 3.5 GHz overclocked to 4.0GHz / MSI GTX 960 4GB Video Card / 16GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1866MHz DDR3 System RAM / MSI Z97-G45 Motherboard / Crucial MX200 500GB mSATA SSD
February 20, 201313 yr avsim.su/avsimrus.com have some great things, especially when it comes to sceneries, but their plane section (which it seems you're more interested in) is pretty much the same as avsim and simviation. simouthouse is great for (classic) warbirds Then there's flyawaysimulation, but I don't really use their site. And two more come to my mind, though they both don't offer any planes, but really fantastic repaints and sceneries: Aussiex(ok, a few planes here, too), and the ORBX freeware section! Cheers, Flo Florian
February 20, 201313 yr Sim outhouse is also good for some unique GA aircraft. Tim (Piglet) Conrad has done really nice freeware over there. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
