Flight Factory-Simulations?

Featured Replies

I for sure looked forward to the SF340B project, I have'nt heard anything about it all summer so if somebody knows what's going on, pleas tell me.I hope this projet does not go the same way as LAGO's MadDog.:-roll Regards,Johan

Well, it doesnt look good over at FFS, they had some problems, they closed there forums, and there has been no word of any of the new projects. There was talk of the SAAB going to Aeroworx, but that could just be heresay.Dan.

I posted the question of whether the SAAB will be given over to Aeroworx before the forum closed. The answer I recieved was that FFS was not selling the SAAB, and was going to finish it. Well, it's been months now, and the forums have closed(never seen that before). The last update on their site was from Aug 5th, saying that the SAAB is on hold for the time being :( . Hopefully, some new news will become available shortly. I've been waiting for a fully modelled 340 ever since I started simming with the release of FS98. Things aren't looking so good for FFS right now, but hopefully they'll pull together and get it finished. Dana.

Flight Factory intended to complete the Saab at the time we purchased the Cirrus Project from them:-)We are progressing well on the Cirrus and last we heard FFS was progressing on the Saab:-)

Ron,I didn't realize you guys had taken over the Cirrus project. Are you still going to be modelling the avionics to the degree that FFS had stated? I know you guys haven't done a full blown systems sim like that before, so just curious...

Ryan,Take a look at the Eaglesoft site. They have some pics posted in the forum. It looks like it will be every bit as good as FFS had intended it to be.
