March 1, 201313 yr This one made me laugh - When we were getting the flightdeck ready for a short hop, I decided to test the fire alert system, so I pressed test. My P2 immediately jumped into "looks like we have a fire here!". No we don't old chap! Calm down, it's only a test! The moral of the story? Stick to the flows to avoid upsetting your P2, as he is liable to getting his knickers in a twist and is highly strung!
March 1, 201313 yr Commercial Member The trigger is based on the associated light illuminating. If you run the Pre-Flight events flow, the FO will not call the fire because FS2Crew knows you're doing a test. But if you manually do a test outside the pre-flight events section, the FO will think it's a fire because he can't the difference. He's just a computer after all... he's smart but he's not that smart... he's just an F.O. (flap operator  ) B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
