March 1, 201313 yr Yes. I have all of my fsx scenery located on a mechanical HDD. The only scenery I keep on the SSD is the Orbx/FTX stuff and I'm in the process of moving that over to another HDD as that is now possible. March 1, 201313 yr Hello I did same thing of firehawk44 and FSX work well. Just create folders with a name of your choice (EX.: F:/FSX/Addon Scenery) on your HDD. Just verify with some installer software if they have other folders create as Effects, texture, etc. If yes, move the content of these folders in the root of your FSX installation. I you want to move your scenery installed into your FSX installation, move them in you new Addon Scenery of your HDD and modify your scenery.cfg file who is maybe in your folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX. Mace copy of this file before modify it.
