March 5, 201313 yr Hi, so far all of my FSX addons seem to work with Win 8. With one exception: AES. Right after the installation I was able to start the AESHelp application but the jetways did not show up in FSX. Now AESHelp does not even start anymore. All I see is the "Loading..." screen and then the program closes. I tried several compatibility settings but unfortunately that didn't help either. Now I'm wondering whether I made something wrong or if AES is just not Win 8 compatible. So I would really like to know if someone of you got AES to work under Wind 8? Thanks and Greetings Tim Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
March 5, 201313 yr Author Yes, thanks, I did that already. No answer yet, though. I'm just curious if someone got it to work at all  Greetings Tim Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
April 3, 201313 yr Same here. After I installed this operating system, I didn't actually "install" it. I just ran the AEShelp and it reconfigured itself with the airports. I know it's not the correct spot for this but just FYI, I haven't had a problem getting it to run. April 3, 201313 yr I also tried versions 2.25 and 2.26 which even say "on OS unkown" or somrthing like that, which means they dont even recognize W8 build. Still running fine. 2.30 reconizes W8 just fine. Raimo Ingland
April 7, 201313 yr Author Yes, AES works fine with Win 8. That it didn't worked for me at first was my fault as I didn't acknowledged the "VistaMare Software" correctly :smile2: Greetings Tim Greetings Tim My files on Flightsim.to i5 12600K | 32Gb | RTX 4080
