March 7, 201313 yr Just today started getting this error message when launching Opus. I have tried launching manually and using the exe.xml file.I have been using beta 2.90.x for a while. Any ideas as to how I should fix it? Thanks for your help and a great product. My MSFS 2020 repaints: Flightsim.to - Profile of HStreet Working on MSFS 2024 versions.
March 7, 201313 yr Hi Henry, Are you using OPUS on a single or networked computer? Did you make changes to any OPUS files prior to this happening? Do you click on a desktop icon to normally start OPUS or do you have this in your exe.xml file for it to start automatically when FSX boots up: <Launch.Addon> <Name>OpusFSX Flight Simulator Server for FSX</Name> <Disabled>false</Disabled> <Path>c:\OpusFSX\FSXSERVER.EXE</Path> </Launch.Addon> I've been using OPUS for about 3 months, and although I'm no expert on it, I haven't seen this error before. If you can't get it fixed reasonably quick, I'm positive Stephen or Cheryl will be ready to assist. Chris Sunseri
March 7, 201313 yr Commercial Member This is an error from the FSXPMDG.EXE program which says it is failing to connect to the FSX SimConnect interface. Are you using the CPFlight MCP device? If not then disable it in our configuration. Open the OpusFSX spy window and check if OpusFSX is connecting to SimConnect. Regards Cheryl
March 8, 201313 yr Author I do not use the PMDG integration, but, YES!, was a problem with SimConnect. I had changed the IP address on my computer which changed SimConnect settings. It is all working again. Thanks for your quick response. My MSFS 2020 repaints: Flightsim.to - Profile of HStreet Working on MSFS 2024 versions.
