I finally got the MD-11 installed! Thank you for the advice given on my last posts. I'am flying currently on the PMDG house livery, because I didn't get the liveries installed from the DVD to the computer. I know it must have something to do with the user rights I have - I always have to click "run as admin" on the Fsx. Would it make sense to download the liveries from the Pmdg site and click then "run as admin". Is anybody well versed on this prodedure?

As I too fly the PMDG MD-11X frequently, perhaps I can guide you here.

 

Just visit the PMDG website, look for Downloads-Add-on Liveries-select MD-11 FSX and choose the livery you want. There is a passenger section and a cargo section. Just click on it, it will then download to wherever you keep your Downloads folder according to the OS you run. From there, then just click the self-installer, and it will install whichever livery that you have selected and downloaded, into your FSX. When you next fire up FSX, it should, in theory, be there for you to use. Simple as that. If you are having 'Run as admin' issues, you will have to look elsewhere for assistance on resolving that.
