  1. Hi guys So I wanted to do the same now. At the beginning it installed it once again under "programm86" - and now I can't deinstall it anymore, because FSX is not shown in the list of installed programmes. I retried installing it. I was wondering of what happened then : I was asked directly after a Minute to enter the 2nd Dvd, sth loaded, and loaded. It ended up with the message that "gameruxInstallHelper.dll" was not there! And now I don't want to just delete the installed items of the first failed Setup... Even Microsoft posted that FSX Professional is nomore compatible under Win8.1 Any ideas? By the way I have an Acer Predator G3-605 with an Intel i7-4770, Nvidia GTX 745 with 4GB, 32GB DDR3, 128GB SSD
  2. As I read in older topics, the release date of the boxed version is unknown. But as I am not willing to buy the download version, although I know about the hardcopy way, I would really appreciate to have further information about the boxed one. Is there any chance to get it before christmas via aerosoft or whatever? Till now, aerosoft has not announced anything of Pmdgs 777. Thanks, Alex
  3. I usually need more cockpit preparing time than flight time. So I will not go more than 2.5 hrs short-haul trips
  4. Hi guys Sorry if I am the 100th to ask, but what do we already know about the additional T7 models? Which will be included? Do we expect a release before Christmas? 77W: LX livery would be very cool  Thanks and a nice Sunday Alex

    A380?

I think it's quite sad, that Nextlevelsimulation (NLS) stopped working on their A380, the first videos and screenshots had been so lovely. The owner of NLS got up a new job, maybe he will be able to sell his company's work to a good developper. PMDG or who else wouldn't pick up someone elses work, because of some technical difficulties. :( The English article: http://airdailyx.blogspot.ch/2013/01/next-level-simulations-nls-a380.html Alex
  8. Just one question regarding the topic of vortices. Does that word include the fog you can see in the engines of that 77W ? If yes, than I can tell you, I've read the thematic around half a year ago in a post. Someone of PMDG, think it was Ryan, wrote that by now it's not possible to display this feature on FSX, they tried to do it, but the results didn't seem well, so they left it behind. Of course it would be nice to see the T7, but I agree it's till today not to performe. They might want to surprise us...surprise, surprise  Alex
  9. A good 767 would also be great. I loved flying with the good old Level-D-Sim 767 on FS2004 - how the time flies. Thinking about getting it reinstalled on my pc... I had my experience with the CaptainSim 767 - experience is the fitting expression. Thats more or less the reason why I'm actually only flying with the MD-11's good old SR Livery. If PMDG builds a 767 with a Belair Livery, I'd definately buy it! Some history: Belair was the former Charter Airline of SR, like Edelweissair it is now for SWISS. Balair went to Belair after Swissair Grounding. Now it's Air Berlin)
  10. Who of you has ever flown on a 77L? I've had enough of my last SIN-ZRH flight (around 11.20 hrs), now idea how it would be on a Charter-airline without any form of modern inflight entertainment. What has UA done with their 777-200ER to be able to fly 15 hrs? Are they flying in stratosphere or all the way over to Australia at 250knots?
  11. The other difference is that the 300ER sells, the 200LR doesn't: over 700 orders for the 300ER, only 60 for the 200LR till this summer I just realized that EK operates the 777-200LR, thought they would only use their 777-200ER
  12. By the way does anybody know if PMDG plans to get their new products Prepar3d ready? Another question I asked myself: Is there a boxed Version of the Prepar3d Sim available? The screenshots looks brilliant, but I expect my pc would say goodbye after the install ^_^. Do you have experience on it? Thanks
  13. Didn't know about the DC-6, but that sounds nice - flying on good old Swissair color sheme... The guess with 2020 is the most fitting maybe, then hopefully no more on FSX - maybe Prepar 5d  So let's enjoy the time being till the 777-200 is out and the 77W completes our virtual airline fleets
  14. Who of you would be happy to get a well-running Dreamliner? If it's not possible in real, try it virtual ! I think that was discussed earlier, but like PMDG won't finish the NLS A380 (or LX retires their A340 fleet ) it could be a good project after the 777. What is actually in planning after the 777? Still the Dash? I ve just flown on QR's 787 enroute DOH back to ZRH, really appreaciated it: The only thing was the stupid Inflight Entertainment box in front of my seat that fought against my legs...The sunrise was super anyway
  15. And is the route already in discussion? Why not flying the shortest 777 operated flight on BA from Kingston (MKJP) to Montego Bay (MKJS) or SQ SIN to KUL. EK DXB to AUB... For the 77W we go on LX when they have to stop in MUC for flying to BKK to get the plane full
