November 3, 201312 yr I usually need more cockpit preparing time than flight time. So I will not go more than 2.5 hrs short-haul trips Alexander Dressler
November 3, 201312 yr It just depends on the route I want to fly and the time available. It can basically be anything between 1 hour and 17 hours. Marc
November 3, 201312 yr I have flown 10 hours as a max so far. Have to allow for the freezes though, I usually get 1 every hour after 2 hours flight and they can last up to 15 mins. Very annoying but still trying to find a fix as I do love flying this plane.
November 4, 201312 yr My legs so far have been between four to ten hours actual computing time, both with and without using time compression. I have yet to run into any problems except for the already known and acknowledged issues. However, I have never experienced any crashes and/or freezing. Very smooth experience with the T7, despite flying between complex payware airports/sceneries only and switching views back and forth frequently (internal/external) in flight. I don't run everything in full detail, though. Road and aircraft traffic is down to 2-5%, and autogen set to medium. Also, I don't use high-res 4096 textures. No traffic addons either. Dave P. Woycek
November 4, 201312 yr Not less than around 6 hours. The shortest flight I do with the 777 is KMEM/KORD - PANC, which is around 6-6.5 hours. My usual trips are 8-12 hours with the occasional 17 hour trip in somewhere, but that only happens on rare occasions! I don't enjoy flying the 777 on short flights as that sort of takes the fun out of it for me - I enjoy flying it on the type of routes it was designed for, but this is obviously only for a select few I suspect, as I am fortunate enough to not have too many responsibilities after work and on weekends at the moment! November 4, 201312 yr Longest flight I've done so far is ~6,700nm from MUHA (Havana) to ZKPY (Pyongyang), which will take ~16 hours in real life. However, I used 16x auto cruise time acceleration (and 32x at times where i got bored) so I've only logged ~1.5 hours of actual time in the sim (incl. preparation & shutdown).
November 4, 201312 yr I'm currently on a return flight from RJAA - Tokyo Narita to EDDF - Frankfurt. With and Average Headwind of 38 knots. According to the flight plan, it should take me about 12 hours to complete in 1x speed. I'm kinda tempted to use autocruise though.
November 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member Not would, but have: http://www.vataware.com/flight.cfm?id=12322965 14.5 hours. No time acceleration. Kyle Rodgers
November 4, 201312 yr I think the longest flights I did weres Doha - Houston and Dubai - Los Angeles. I did them in real time, which amounted to over 17 hours, including the PFPX plnning and cockpit prep.
November 4, 201312 yr Distance/Time Traveled: 6770nm/15:42 http://www.vataware.com/flight.cfm?id=12364217 Also no time acceleration... It starts to play with your senses after a while. Brandon Binder Drei Tage war der Vater krank - jetzt trinkt er wieder - Gott sei dank!

November 4, 201312 yr I have never used time acceleration so when I fly long routes I do it when I have a lot of time on my hands, and some chores to do to pass the time. KLAX-EDDP as Southern Air Cargo 97 LFPG-RJAA as Air France Cargo 6760 I think those are my longest.
November 4, 201312 yr I'd honestly fly the B777 for longer than 12 hours. Unfortunately, with current commitments it would be hard to get any longer than 12 hours. If I could, then I'd definitely attempt a 14+ hour flight. Kind regards, Luke Bischoff
November 4, 201312 yr Usually around 5 hours maximum. Life's just too busy to spend longer in one session. Luckily the T7's time compression utility does a great job, so most of the real life flight times for my T7 flights would be 8 - 10 hours (all of my T7 flights are Emirates, from FlyTamp Dubai).
