  1. For me it depends on the forum or community. Honestly? I'm not a fan, but I feel comfortable enough here and enables me to participate in these forums. However, there are some forums and communities I'd never share any personal details on, no questions asked.
  2. I really do quite like this new livery in the R2-D2 theme. I think it's pretty creative and fun!
  3. These are some amazing wallpapers! Thanks for sharing these images. Shame the thread had to be derailed slightly but that's to be expected on the internet I suppose!
  4. I certainly wouldn't get your hopes up about an A350! Personally, I'd rather PMDG develop a 787, but any Airbus aircraft seems a longshot for now.
  5. For me, it really depends on how I am feeling! Sometimes if I am tired and landing in the small hours of the morning, I might let the aircraft land automatically. Although, I do try as often as possible to at least hand fly the final approach and landing. It really does depend! It is interesting to see what other simmers like to do.
  6. That is really great news! A glimmer of hope that it hasn't been forgotten about - although it probably never was! I'm still firmly for the -200ER.. B)
  7. I use AVG Free and seems to work well for me!
  8. I've also been having issues with SkyVector. It eventually loaded yesterday but today it hasn't worked. I tried just now and Chrome just says "This webpage is not available". Guess we'll just have to wait until the problems are resolved.
  9. That's very impressive! Nice work by Honda.
  10. Lovely pictures of London, I wish mine could look like that! I flew into London last night actually, with American Airlines. Never managed to get my London looking that great.
  11. 26 OCT 2014: American Airlines Flight 106 - KJFK [Kennedy Intl] > EGLL [Heathrow] Boeing 777-300ER | N721AN Duration: 06:10 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the departure; mostly because it was night time. Here are a couple of pictures of the OCK arrival and final to 27R. Descending toward the OCKHAM hold. Turning around the OCK hold: Final 27R: 27 OCT 2014: American Airlines Flight 105 - EGLL [Heathrow] > KJFK [Kennedy Intl] Boeing 777-300ER | N721AN Duration: 07:05 hours. Cruising over the Atlantic, shortly after entering NAT C. Final 22L at KJFK:
  12. BrianT is on track, I believe. This isn't talking about your average forum troller. I wouldn't classify what the BBC are calling trolls as trolls. They're a bit stupid anyway to send death threats and other really stupid things with their real name tagged to it... (I'm not condoning threatening people just because you are anonymous though). When I first saw this on the news I immediately thought something was wrong with the way they branded them a trolls...
  13. Great screenshots everyone! Flight: Air Canada Flight 34 - Sydney (YSSY) to Vancouver (CYVR) Aircraft: Boeing 777-200LR | C-FNNH Flight Time: 13:55 minutes Cleared to Line Up and wait on Sydney's Runway 34L: Leaving Sydney: En Route with a small amount of weather to the right of our route: Shortly before sunset high over the pacific (since we're flying east, the sun literally dropped like a stone): Wing View: The sun nearly setting: After a long period of night time, we began the descent into Vancouver with quite a bit of cloud cover: Sadly, I couldn't get any of the final approach because the ILS in my FSX for Vancouver is messed up. It wouldn't capture the localiser and glide slope so I decided for a go-around and take 2. The LOC and G/S captured this time, but seems the ILS was set to the wrong heading so I hand flew it down. Definitely not something you want at nearly 1 AM in real life after being up since 7...
  14. I did Air Canada Flight 33 again. Here are a few shots of the most recent one [20SEP14 to 21SEP14]. At the Gate (6863 NM)! Wing/Engine View of a patch of bad weather over the South Pacific. C-FNNH up close! Approaching Sydney! Turning right. Vectors to Final 16R. On Final. Total Flight Time: 14 hours 37 minutes. Cheers,
