Does anyone have Sim PhysicsX ,Accufeel and OpusX on same rig?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I have seen some stuff on Sim PhysicsX lately. I was going to get it, however, I'm thinking that there would be conflicts with AccuFeel land air and sea V2 and Opus? I don't use any of the head movement in Opus however.

From what I see, I can only disable the accufeel once the AC is loaded. I may be wrong here, as I've not tinkered too much with that if it can be done.

I don't want to uninstall it yet until I've seen what Sim PysicsX can do first. Any suggestions you may have? Thanks much in advance.

Best, Jeff

Friendly bump....anyone using this? Didn't want to take the plunge without your input first. Thanks!

I would not use AccuFeel and Sim Physics X together.  I found this link for you that might describe some of the incompatibility - http://forum.simflight.com/topic/73727-fsps-announces-sim-physics-x/.  Opus is a weather program and should not interfere with either program.

Best regards,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Thanks as always for the helpful link. There is indeed users there that have tested with both programs. I was concerned about Opus only for the dynamic head movement, even though I have it disabled.

Not to get OT....I am hoping to take a few days to go to the 2013 Avsim Fancon this year, are you going by chance? Maybe finally I get to meet some of the community in person after all of these years! Thanks again for your help. :)

Glad to hear you will be there.  I have all my reservations set and ready to go.  See you there!  You'll easily recognize me.  I'll have a black eye and two missing teeth in the front!  LOL!

Best regards,

Jim
