This occurs within 10 secs of starting RC, please help

Can you alt-tab to see if there are any other error windows?. Has anything been installed or modified on your pc before the trouble began?

The fault module gdiplus.dll_unloaded is suspicious. That is a library or FS video upgrade. The RC app error code indicates it is trying to access restricted errors of ram used for your system.

 

Make sure your RAM is sufficient for your operating system and you have plenty of room on your C: drive and assigned Win paging drive. Most FS features, however, can not use page swaps but want their modules used in resident physical RAM.

 

The test would be default aircraft, default airport, and just RC and FS running. Any unused background apps should be turned off to open up ram resources.

make a log, instructions are pinned to the top of the forum. there isn't enough on the screen for me to see what is going on.

 

are you running rc as admin (right mouse click .exe or icon, and clicking run as admin?)
