1) IS service based failures linked to a livery or the aircraft type? I would love to see usage across my fleet, instead of individually

 

2) Apart from the more obvious things [engine failure for example] a lot of failures I find are hard to determine as their is no eicas messages. Without going into the pmdg > failures in the FMC is there other indicators to failures in non-vital areas of the 737?

Yes.  Look in each livery folder and you'll see a .INI file for that tail number.

 

...however...

 

If you go into the SETUP prompts in the FMC, I believe you can load another aircraft's .ini.  As to whether or not it stays that way over the course of subsequent loads, I do not know.

 

EDIT:

Just realized that if you try what I suggested, it may override your equipment settings.  I'll take a look tonight and post back what I find.
