March 27, 201313 yr Some how, they've managed to integrate it with WX500 Information here -- http://www.mythicalireland.com/other/planes/flight-simulator/PMDG-737-weather-radar/PMDG-737-weather-radar.php And here -- http://www.simforums.com/forums/topic14834&KW=pmdg.html I think this only works with the FS9 version of the PMDG aircraft. Could the authors of OPUS impart some of their wisdom? Do you think this is implementable on the NGX? Any plans to use your programming wiz to create a weather radar that can be 'hacked' into the ND and EFIS panel of the NGX and subsequent PMDG aircraft? Cheers. Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering

March 27, 201313 yr Same, I could actually care less if it was really working good or not. William Sequeira
March 27, 201313 yr Author You guys any good with messing with virtual cockpit panel files? All it requires is some knowledge with the NGX panels and a lot of patience... There is a 'NDWX' gauge file that someone created to overlay onto the EFIS, and ND (its in a link on that website I posted). Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
March 27, 201313 yr I am ok with panels and such....kinda have done some MCGiver paneling for my RXP unit into some planes....will give it a go, thanks for the info! William Sequeira
March 27, 201313 yr Same, I could actually care less if it was really working good or not. Precisely. I wonder if RL sims have WXR?..............the pilots have to get used to it, useing it ect and how it works.. I cant see pilots learning something detremental to flight safty, whilst 'on the fly'... I mean, if there not simulating a storm popin up on the wxr, how are they training thereself to react to it during a real flight? Regards Luke M
March 28, 201313 yr Author Hi William, please let us know if you get it to work with the NGX. So far it seems to be sucessful with the PMDG FS9 737-800 NG; I don't know if anyone has even attempted it with the NGX. I am ok with panels and such....kinda have done some MCGiver paneling for my RXP unit into some planes....will give it a go, thanks for the info! Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
