Engine Flame Out with OPUS

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

Does anyone flew this little bird on icing condition using OPUS 2.90.5 or above? Casue I keep getting the right engine to flame out even with engine anti ice ON.

I heard that OPUS have implemented icing, so I would like to know if its possible.

Thanks

OPUS introduced icing in version 2.94.0 and the newest version out is 2.94.4(beta).  It doesn't sound like OPUS is the culprit Matias since you also tested it with Active Sky.  If you somehow do determine the cause to be OPUS related (sounds doubtful though), let Stephen or Cheryl know as right now there's no way to adjust it.  Stephen has mentioned he will create a tab if necessary to give users the option to disable icing.

Thanks Chris, I think I found the problem.

I think FSCaptain is making the engine to shut down. I remember it happened too with the 747 with only engine 4.

I'm doing the flight right now with OPUS and FSCaptain disabled and so far so good.
