Black screen in FSX

Featured Replies

Hi all,

After locking my Windows session for a few mins I unlocked it and came back to FSX with weird graphics. The screen is black and when i try to open menus they stick to the screen. I have tried opening it full screen and back again but still the same. The flight is still flying as I can track it via proATCX. Unfortunately I cannot exit as i am 7 hrs into a 9 hr flight.

Have you got the highmenfix=1  in your fsx.cfg   under  displays   section

With your earlier  problem  usually when it happens  to me  I usually  press  the alt  and  enter  key  and  this usually  brings  it back  to life. try not  to switch   menus  too often  usually  brings  it  on
