March 31, 201313 yr For some reason, don't ask me how or why......, the zoom level on all cameras have gone haywire causing all outside ground terxtures to look blurry. Can anyone please tell me how you can reset them back to default ? Thanks Paul

March 31, 201313 yr I don't have a clue, but I thought I would post anyway, sorry. PS: Camera views are in the aircraft.cfg file for the plane(s) in question.
March 31, 201313 yr Actually I might have a clue. Go into your Aircraft .cfg file and looks for (as Jim said above) the camera views: It should look something like this: [CameraDefinition.4] Title = "Landing Gear" Guid = {96873AAD-621B-4C45-8A58-DEF7B7FCB051} Description = View of the landing gear and left wing inboard flaps Origin = Center SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel SnapPbhReturn = FALSE PanPbhAdjust = Swivel PanPbhReturn = FALSE Track = None ShowAxis = FALSE AllowZoom = TRUE InitialZoom = .58 ShowWeather = Yes InitialXyz = 0, -10.0, 21 InitialPbh = 0, 0, 180 XyzAdjust = TRUE Category=Aircraft MomentumEffect=FALSE ClipMode=Minimum There will be many of these inputs, for each different view. What I am pretty sure you have to do is go in and change in the InitialZoom number. So, the one above is InitialZoom = .58 whatever yours is try changing it. All of my aircraft are set to .58 and it works for me. Hope that helps. March 31, 201313 yr Why is it you think blurry ground textures are connected to camera zoom levels? Also, camera zoom levels don't change themselves. Are you using EZDok or Opus or another camera editing addon? If so, you should be able to set zoom levels through the interface of that software.
April 2, 201313 yr Author No idea how it happened, when I zoomed out the ground textures became sharp again. I did delete the camera cfg and let FSX build a new one but the problem was still there. Thank god for seagate disc image, reinstalled a previous image and now its fine again. Its been said many times on this forum but a disc image programme saves you so much hassle..........
