April 2, 201313 yr No. And it might create problems as overclocking the GPU can create unknown crashes or system freezes. FSX is more CPU dependent than the GPU. April 2, 201313 yr I've always experienced freezes or CTD's when o/c'ing the 580, Doeke, so all I do now is keep up with the driver upgrades, and be very methodical when working with Inspector. As Jim intimated - FSX responds strongly to the proc being overclocked - one can actually see a difference, even with small overclocks.
