September 24, 200421 yr I have the free RealAir Cessna 172SP. I was wondering if the 3d panel is an amended MS default or whether it's all RealAir. The reason I ask is that I find the digits on the radio stack don't seem to be very clear. I assuming that this is either due to my monitor or due to the fact that RealAir have partly used the default Cessna (which also has unclear didgits). If it's my monitor then I know what to put on my Christmas list! If it's un upgraded default Cessna, I'll add something else to the list!I've heard such good things about RealAir's products that I feel I should get at least one of their payware products :-) Victor
September 24, 200421 yr The whole aircraft is default. The only thing that is Realair are some new textures and their trademark flight dynamics that allows spinning the aircraft and provides a generally realistic handling. I can wholeheartedly recommend their payware offerings if you are into hand flying of light aircraft. -
September 24, 200421 yr Thanks for that. I'm very tempted. Just need to decide which one to have. Their Cessna trims like a dream with my joystick!Victor
September 24, 200421 yr you won't be dissappointed with any of them but the SF260 would be my pick if I had to choose one...
September 24, 200421 yr Victor,Flight1 has released a new Cessna 172. I havent had it yet but I've heard great things about it and I also know that Flight1 aircraft are top of the line. I would strongly recommend it to you since you seem to do a lot of 172 flying, and it's much cheaper than a monitor at 25 bucks. Hope this helps!
September 25, 200421 yr Author The new Flight1 172R has an outstanding 3d cockpit... no need to get a new monitor.. See attached... Bert
