April 14, 201313 yr Hi, its 130am and im not in a good mood....after finally deciding on my next aircraft I go to PMDG and buy my 4th aircraft from them, the J41. Download fine install as admin fine email with activation key - fine load up fsx - fine agree to dlls - fine choose aircraft js41 - fine please activate - NOPE put in the key and .......wait...wait.,.. task manager says FSX not responding wait 30 secs then box comes up again with same message ..this is a never ending cycle - no error message if i leave field blank i get error saying PLEASE enter key if i click cancel says UNLICENSED Copy (not true) wont perform as expected (that parts already true) key is if course correct - copied and pasted exactly as emailed to me after a long day i was excited to get home at 1am and 'chill' with this amazing machine....any ideas?? ...whenever this happens I feel like downloading the pirate version because you know i paid for it and THAT wont need activating....although to just encourages the b******S.... anyway i want to fly the damn thing i paid for it!! sorry for more vent/rant than polite explanation but its now 141 am and i wasted an hour not simming! RG PS just uninstalled and reinstalled and tried also changing aircraft after sim already loaded but same issue ACTIVATION BOX DISAPPEARS FSX shows as not responding in task manager ACTIVATION BOX REAPPEARS FSX shows as RUNNING again ugh.... if i type ANY combo of letters in the box it does the same so does this mean the server is down as im getting no WRONG key message? April 15, 201313 yr Author the latest earlier today was that they moved their activation to a new server in a new location..and were waiting permission to redirect activations too it. mine too is still not working although now it fails In seconds instead of hanging FSX for a minute so I reckon that it may indeed be back working by tonite... ..check the main PMDG forums for the detailed responses from them...its ONLY affecting the NGX/J41 and not other sales so they left the shopping cart running through our particular crisis Russell Gough SE London

I think it would be perfectly fair for all PMDG buyers stuck with a non-working aircraft during this crisis to be given a coupon for a discount on the 777....fair AND good PR..
