Weather.dll errors on shut down

Featured Replies

I keep getting "weather.dll" errors AFTER I exit MSFS. I was wondering what of the 4 disk's it is on. I was hoping that replacing the dll might fix the problem.(I see many people have had that error on here)XP Home SP2Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 2x512MBGeForce FX 5700 256MB (56.72)SB AudigyMSFF2 & X45 throttleSee you in the fence...CYYZ

OK I found it on the CD and replaced it but still giving me problems. I can fly all day if I like but as soon as I exit the sim I get the message that the "weather.dll" had an error.I also seen many other post's about people having problems on shut down with DLL errors but none mentioned since June.Funny thing is I just got a new HD and reinstalled everything. Before, I never had this problem then I switched hard drives and the problem is eating at me (fresh install of XP too BTW).I disabled the error reporting service thing but do we have a real fix yet?XP Home SP2Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 2x512MBGeForce FX 5700 256MB (56.72)SB AudigyMSFF2 & X45 throttleSee you in the fence...CYYZ

Thanks for the reply Chris. I'm perplexed (which is real easy for me, har har) as to why it never happened before and now it does. Glad to hear it could be addressed in the much anticipated patch (fingers crossed, and hoping I spelled that word right).XP Home SP2Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 2x512MBGeForce FX 5700 256MB (56.72)SB AudigyMSFF2 & X45 throttleSee you in the fence...CYYZ
