April 28, 201313 yr If I attempt to do a forum search using the 'Forum' option... it returns a database error page. I just tried both the FORUMS and THIS TOPIC search and both worked. What you may have seen was just a transient conflict between your search and some other function being executed by the board or on the database.
April 29, 201313 yr Author Commercial Member I dunno, it happens to me every time. I am at the main forum index... I type in what I want to search for... I click where it says "Google" and select "Forums"... and then click the magnifying glass... it takes a bit... and then comes up with a database error. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69

April 29, 201313 yr I don't know what to tell you Ed. I just did three consecutive searches and all worked as they should. Have you cleared your cache, done all the usual?
May 3, 201313 yr i've been having search issues for about two weeks. this is across four computers and across about 15 networks (have been traveling so from many different IP's around the SW and South parts of the US). following errors just received when wanting to search JUST the forum (the 'google' search is worthless and does not find 95% of the topics i'm looking for ... but plenty of ads!) example of errors that happened just now and example of the errors received with 4 of 5 searches - forum.avsim.net Driver Error There appears to be an error with the database.
