Webroot Scans as 'threat

Featured Replies

My Webroot scanning software is detecting and deleting the fsxserver.exe file.  I had to turn off my protection to open the program.  Any suggestions.

Hi Joe

Unless you can specify fsxserver.exe as an exception I can't think of any other option apart from turning off protection. We recommend turning off virus and spyware scanners since they impact on the performance of FSX. We just leave our firewall on and that gives sufficient protection whilst online.

Norton Power Eraser is also flagging and deleting fsxserver.exe.

It shows more information in this link.

What's going on?

Regards.

I will register our site with Norton which will stop this happening. There is nothing wrong with our software it is just not registered with Norton yet.
