No monitor display

Featured Replies

Hi all

Help needed. Today I used a software tool which scans the PC for obsolete drivers and then removes them.

So I ran the scan, cleared out the 'obsolete' drivers and rebooted. I have zero monitor display now- not even a DOS screen. Furthermore when I turn the PC on the monitor power light just flashes, no steady light is established. I know the PC itself is booting up properly because my Avast AV program has an audio cue when the windows opens the desk top screen -I'm hearing that cue.

So, it seems to me that my video card is now sending no signal at all to my monitor. Asus 660Ti GTX

Any views

Thanks

Eric

In a last desperate measure, I connected the monitor to the second DVI port connector on the graphics card. Display restored.
