May 6, 201313 yr So I haven't managed to establish where to define your required cruising alt on the FMC to get TOC info etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks. Jordan Forrest
May 6, 201313 yr You don't specify a cruise alt, and TOC is never calculated anyway, this aircraft doesn't have a sophisticated FMC like many other commercial aircraft. Cheers, Andy.
May 6, 201313 yr Author Ah, I thought I'd seen it in a screenshot at some point; it must have been TOD that I saw  Jordan Forrest
May 6, 201313 yr Yup, you just put in the altitude you want, hit alt sel, and manage the climb with V/S or IAS if you want a speed managed climb. -Darren Currie
May 6, 201313 yr V/S can be quite dangerous for climbing in higher altitudes, because there is no stall protection! Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.

May 6, 201313 yr V/S can be quite dangerous for climbing in higher altitudes, because there is no stall protection! You are correct. I actually use IAS all the way up to cruise and then V/S during descent because the VNAV portion of the tutorial confuses me lol -Darren Currie
