Is there any added benefit of the 3014 over the 3011? The price differential makes the choice obvious.

 

Does anyone have knowledge of both merits?

I have the 3011 and very happy with it. The 3014 has Display Port and a few other differences, see here:

What video card do you have ? Are you running your display at 2560x1600?

I run 2560x1600x32 in FSX on a GTX680 card.

Did you notice any significant drop on your frame rates as a result?

No, but I switched from GTX480 to GTX680 at the same time, and my system is not very fast because of my processor, so I run with quite conservative settings.

 

I am waiting to see about Haswell before I decide about my mobo and processor
