Experiences with Simaddons' CYTZ (Toronto City Airport)?

Featured Replies

Does anybody use this addon? It is rather expensive as you have to buy it with Halifax Scenery (both together about 55 Can$). I'm asking because I really like to fly with my new Majestic DQ400 to RW destinations - and CYTZ is a prominent Hub for Dash-8-Q400 traffic.

So how does it perform and how is the quality of this addon? Is it worth the money?

Thanks

Harry

Yes - it is worth it, (SimAddons make great airports), as it may well start a new set of routes to fly. My "normal" is CYVR, CYYJ, KSEA, KPDX, KSFO, KLAX, KSAN, with KPHX and KLAS as side routes. It takes a while to get to know all of the departures and arrivals, runways, gates, etc, and tee'd up with things like GSX and HiFi's XPAX, these make for an interesting series of flights that generate a great deal of satisfaction.

I do have the Halifax/Toronto CYTZ airports, (also DX10 compatible!) and am planning the next few purchases based upon the East Coast, US and Canada, and am looking forward to purchasing the Dash sometime this summer..... unless Orbx releases NOR/SOCAL sooner.

Paul, good to hear that you use and recommend it. DX10 compatibility is another plus (I appreciate you outstanding contributions in the DX10 forum). So I will probably go for it. Don't miss the Dash it is an awesome bird. Harry
