May 10, 201313 yr I noticed this kinda of annoying thing with these cameras where the scenery loses a lot of details instead of maintaining details such as in this screenshot:

May 10, 201313 yr Author lol.. it's fsx. When I go to fly-by view or spot view.. it suddenly doesn't look as pretty. Like those views are purposely defined to show up with a much much lower lod. Anyone knows how to change it? Here's another one as an extra:
May 10, 201313 yr No cloud shadows.. it's FSX What you're talking about probably isn't LOD but good ol' fashioned zoom. This pisture was probably taken with zoom level 0.3 or 0.4, in fly-by view zoom is much higher (1.0? don't know exactly). It's probably that but I may be wrong. May 10, 201313 yr Author I did those pictures.. it's just that yeh.. it looks like you lose detail when you zoom in.. I'm not exactly sure.. I just want to keep the same level of detail on all views, if it's possible.
May 10, 201313 yr I just want to keep the same level of detail on all views, if it's possible. Probably not possible. Hi-res textures would help a little but at higher zoom levels the details are reduced, no way around that. It depends on what you actually want to do. If you just want to watch pretty flyby's than you can't do much but if you want to make videos or take screenshots than you can use cameras (EZCA) and position them where you want and set the zoom level that you want. It's a lot of work to get it right though. BTW, nice screenshots you have there on those links in your signature. How do you get those colors.. SweetFX, ENB, Photoshop?
