PATCH and replacement textures?

Featured Replies

Does de patch alters ANY texture of fs9 including replacement ones( clowds, Auto gen, trees, runways, etc...) or just optimizes the core program???

I'd like to know as well.About autogen at least it will replace the "default.xml" autogen file.

Looking at the backup folder created, no. All are system or generic files. There are no other file types other *.dll present other than the one file generic.bgl and a backup of display.cfg.Allcott

Hi Paul, It's all very well explaned in ms web, it's up to you to trust this page or ingnore http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...9.1_english.aspThere was tiny few scenery addons that's overwrite the Generic.bgl, re-installing the 3rd party add-on software causes an overwrite of the updated generic.bgl, you will lose significant fixes to performance and autogen included in the Flight Simulator 2004.Still waiting for your big signature about, lod and radius, since fs2002, it never came back..:-lol ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFs
