Ive been enjoying XPX for over a year now, but one of the things I never really cared for is the over done tire smoke effect. It seems to happen everytime I hit the brakes, even if I just slightly apply the brakes.

 

Is there a replacement texture that either gets rid of it or tones it down a lot? Or is there a file that can be deleted or re-naimed to get rid of it?

Go into sound in the settings tab and reduce ground contact to a very low number or zero if you don't want to hear it at all.
