Hi guys, I looked and couldn't find anything here like this, sorry if this has been answered...

 

I'm in the learning process with aircraft textures and have been working on a 737-700. I have it all the way I want but cannot get the tail number plate in the VC to reflect new tail number...it's somehow stuck on the PMDG default livery...N738PM.

 

I did a new PMDG_NGX_VC_N_Number.dds in new livery folder and no luck.

 

No that I'm thinking about it...does it have to be compressed to new format and re-loaded via the livery manager to show correctly?

You should change atc_id= line in livery section of the aircraft.cfg.

You need to change the alpha channel, as well as the actual image.

Failed to mention I had it in the cfg, but thanks...it is the alpha channel, I can see my tail # underneath there now.
