FS9 doesnt reopen when minimized to set internet!?

Featured Replies

Hi folks
FS9 has been serving me great since a good while.....
Had a issue today , I usually minimize FS9 to perform other tasks like browsing or editing and so on so forth, today ,while in flight VATSIM got disconnected and didn't reconnect on my repeatedly trying,I minimized FS9 and went onto check my ISPs program which runs my dongle,it had automatically got disconnected , so just simply reconnected it.But , alas , when I tried to get back to FS9 the window just didn't open up and I eventually lost my 4 hour long flight.....

Any idea why does this happen?

Thanks in advance for solutions!

REPLY ! Help needed!

Well I know I have this problem with FSX but perhaps it occurs in FS9 as well (although it has never happened to me)

Have you tried Alt+Enter? That works for me when I can't bring the screen back. It might go to windowed mode first and the to full screen.

My experience was the same when I used to minimize FS9 on a Windows Vista system.  I always had to reboot the program.  Windows 8 works fine.

Same here, P.S. Windows 8 is horrible. Windows 7 all the way

No it isn't.

I think it is. Everybody has its own opinion

 Windows 8 works fine.
