  1. Hey Steve, yes I'm using the ported Rick Piper 748 from FS9 and I have your fixer 5.4 build 156. Tried converting the glass cockpit textures to DXT3 format and still no change. I installed the Flight 1 fix and no change. The critical thing here I noticed, is that you D/L from British Flight Sim and I downloaded the Rikooo package with the self installer, sooo I uninstalled that and installed the file from British Flight Sim and poof those window lines are gone. Thanks for mentioning where you got the HS748 from and thanks so much for your help in this! Cheers!
  2. Thanks so much for the help charlie, I finally found that thread myself. Tried everything in the post, tried DX9 aaaaand nothing, still those awful lines on the cockpit windows. I think I've hit a dead end and will keep my 748 flying to FS9. Thanks again, much appreciated.
  3. No, it's not snowing and it doesn't look like dirt. It's just weird I have to look through these light diagonal lines and not being able to remove them. I'll check the texture cfg. suggestion. Thanks for the input!
  4. Hey guys, just wondering if anyone can help me on this. As you can see the windows on the HS748 are a little funky. I've tried taking out the glass dds from the texture folder, no change. There is no file in this aircraft that says "reflections" Could this be because I'm running DX10 (with the fixer)? Any clue or help would be appreciated!
  5. Run the Flight Registry Repair Tool and that should fix it. https://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library
  6. Those KRNO shots are outstanding!
  7. I remember reading somewhere a long time ago, that he was supposed to be on AA 191, the DC-10 that crashed in Chicago but had a change of plans at the last minute.
  8. You can try this mesh and it's free. The only downside for me was, I don't have a paid membership at Simviation so it took me a couple of days to download the 45G file and I have high speed internet. https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/24690/fsx-freemeshx-global-terrain-mesh-scenery-20/
  9. As a 25 year letter carrier I've been bitten three times by "don't worry he won't bite" . People need to have a healthy respect for dogs for what they are, animals, and although they can display human-like emotions, they can also be unpredictable as hell.
  10. Never had a problem with full screen on W10. Alt-TAB in and out no problem either, except when I go back to full screen I get a glowing border and then I hit Alt 2X and it's fine.

  12. Dang, curiosity got the better of me and now I wish I hadn't seen that. So sad. RIP to all the victims.😢
  13. I don't know if any have experienced this, but I wanted to try DX10 preview ahead of maybe ordering Steve's DX10 fixer. Now previously I ran in DX9 with everything maxed and even running an A2A aircraft and it held solid and locked at 60fps. After switching back to DX9 it's all stuttery now and I haven't changed anything in Nvida inspector or the sim. Kind of frustrating because it ran so well before the preview. Any tips or ideas appreciated!
  14. Try a different AA setting. I find when I change the AA settings in Nvidia Inspector it can sometimes do this.
  15. Astounding. Amazing that a 19 year old sim can look so good.🤯
  16. I thought the lone piper walking down the hall was very poignant and an image that will stick in my head, but yeah it would have been cool seeing the complete descension. My coverage was the CBC so I imagine there was one feed that all the networks around the world used to put their own commentary to. One thing I found impressive was how smoothly those Grenadiers handled that 660 lb. coffin.
  17. Watching the whole ceremony that started here at 5 AM. The precision, pageantry, and emotion have made this a fitting and beautiful sendoff for Her Majesty. Well done to the U.K. for the flawless orchestration of this astounding event. Gotta' say I was very proud seeing the RCMP leading the way.
  18. I started kindergarten here in Canada in 1966 and we sang "God Save the Queen" at the start of our day. The next year,1967, we switched to "O Canada", I'm not a monarchist but yet I feel sad that this marks the end of an era. RIP our gracious Queen. One thing for sure, I wish they would keep Elizabeth II on our money though, not a fan of the new King.
  19. Still waiting for a Jetsons future.........
  20. I'm old enough to say I had a Fireball XL5 playset for Christmas. I think the parents pulled a few strings to get that.
  21. I am with Ian on this AV as in "have". So would that mean people banned from the forums would be AV-nots?
