I have an embarrassment of riches as far as 1960's TV series DVD's are concerned. Seeing as a lot of TCM is bantered around here I would submit a treasure I found on TCM back in the spring, "The Next Voice You Hear" starring one of my favorite actors James Whitmore. Really uplifting in these fractious times. I watched another DVD I owned the other night and that was 2000's "Remember The Titans" , another one of my favs. It might seem a little sappy and maybe pie in the sky but in this age of BLM, it would be nice if we could all make things work like this football team did back in 1971.

I was thinking of buying their Halifax and Quebec City sceneries and these were once available at Simmarket, but now they are unavailable. All their other sceneries are up so I wonder what's going on?

Love Doc Martin, Broadchurch, Downton, etc, I would also recommend Kingdom starring Stephen Fry. I loved the original ACGAS and this looks good.

Yep, I've done all of the above. Another thing I found disappointing is the fact that Nvidia Inspector doesn't play well with Windows 10. I have AA to a point, but there are still distant jaggies that I didn't get in W7. But new systems ship with W10 so I don't really want to got through the hassle of trying to install W7 when some of my other programs work very well with W10.

Does anyone experience performance problems with this? I have a high end computer that I just purchased this summer and the 146 suffers from the odd stutter and it's bit of a resource hog. Intel I7 10700 F 2.9-4.2GHz 16G Ram Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti

I purchased mine from Simmarket in September. It might have been under FSX but like Luis said, it works for both sims.

Thanks Jeff. Still running and loving FS2004 but unfortunately progress raises it's ugly head and I'm on W10 now. Oh well, just saved myself some bucks!

I'm thinking of buying the Flight1 727 so does it work in Windows 10?

Reading the myriad problems of MSFS 2020 on the first day of release. I knew this would happen. The growing pains will continue for a while. I just bought a new Alienware unit with a big backpay cheque I got, not because of flightsim but for my music creation software that requires a lot of power. Looking at the Youtube videos over the last while I must say that the graphics blew me away but apparently Asobo left out a lot under the hood. I look at my reliable ol' FS9 and I'm thinking, better (if flawed) ATC , no need to stream anything, great performance, tons of addons and just simply error and worry free flying. It seems right now FS2020 is more a scenery simulator than a flight simulator geared to gamers and I'm not here to bash that, because I know Asobo will make the product grow and improve. I still might get it somewhere down the road but for now I'm totally happy with my 17 year old flight sim. Heck I've even learned how to paint planes and post them at this site in the last month. Making new scenery for FS9 is also something I plan to do in the near future. Long live FS9!

I've just ordered a new system with a 500G SSD and a 1T hard drive. I didn't order it just for flight sim as I have a DAW that requires more power, and when I'm creating music, I want no slow downs. I have never had this kind of configuration so what I wanted to know is, would I just put the exe's on the SSD and then things like scenery and aircraft on the HD or does everything have to be on the same drive?

She had to refer to "it" as a "runway incursion" to get your attention right?

The ATC sounds are horrible. Even good ol' FS9 had recorded phrases.😞

Hey Mitch, thanks for your efforts in this. I tried your fixes and I still got the white squares. Then I thought of something else, if I put those files into the Main texture folder, that should probably work, as that has solved the white square/missing texture problem before. Maybe redundant, I also put them into the Addon Scenery texture folder as well. White squares are gone now. Since I just used the one folder (BHM) I noticed that both airports now look fine so the common file (outlne_lax) must have been the problem. Anyway, that's a quirky little tip I forgot about so I'll pass that on. Thanks again for keeping FS9 alive! Cheers
