March 9, 20251 yr Simple answer yes and a big thumbs up for Quality Customer Service. Decided to reinstall FSX (don't ask) after 10 years away. Vaguely remembered having some OrbX UK scenery so hunted around some old files and found a purchase date and registration number. Went onto the OrbX site but it didn't recognise my email address so I re-registered and unsurprisingly I had nothing associated with my account. Forlornly sent an email via their support service on a Sunday and to my surprise had received a reply by lunchtime, and by the evening the said software had been accredited to my new OrbX account ready for usage. It turns out that I had purchased the software from The Flightsim Store (now defunct) OrbX not directly selling to customers until 2016. Anyway they were able to confirm validity of the purchase...happy days. So, with the advertisers proviso "your mileage may differ", I'd just like to say It's a pleasure to come across a "can do " attitude and a company valuing customers new and old; and to thank Nick Cooper and the OrbX Team and hope I didn't spoil their Sunday too much. Cheers Tim
March 10, 20251 yr Yep, I had the same thing. I had 3 regions that I bought through Flightsim Store and I held my breath as I asked the folks at Orbx, Nick specifically, if they could be added onto my account and they came through. It was much appreciated and for sure, always keep your invoices and registrations handy, they will save you in the end.
March 10, 20251 yr Me too except I had to reset password and then all the sceneries were available for fsx and p3d again. Their server hosting can be notoriously problematic (connection lost!) but their customer service is still excellent. Russell Gough SE London
March 10, 20251 yr I see OrbX listed as one of the business partners on the MSFS 2024 loading screen. It looks like these guys are serious players and highly valued by both Microsoft and Asobo. I'm just getting back into FSX:SE after a long spell. I have many fond memories of this sim, and it is highly playable some 18 years later. There are not many titles that can say that. I got OrbX for both FSX and P3D, I hadn't lost my credentials, and with modern bandwidth I had them downloaded in a jiffy. Mike Beckwith
March 11, 20251 yr I just have my phone and slow wifi and old computer, BUT FSX is always usable for me and with ORBX and Megascenry its very nice looking sim
