June 12, 201313 yr How much money should be spent on RAM if you build a new system now ? For example see the link below http://www.dustinhome.se/ProductList.aspx?lsmartsearch=n=*CORSAIR*VENGEANCE*PRO*&showslots=true&savetousersettings=false Many frequencies and sizes to choose. What is best for FSX ? For P3D XPlane in the future ? Should I prioritize speed or size i.e high MHz or more Gb ? Spend money here or on another component ?
June 13, 201313 yr IMO, ram comes after the motherboard. Once you have settled on a mobo, go to that vendors web site ans start checking on whar ram has been tested to run correctly on their mobo. Then you can go shopping for ram. Or you can buy some aspirin, but some hyped ram and find out it will not work at xxxx speed with the mobo you just bought.
