Recommended Posts

When exiting FS9, which is patched, I get an application fault:Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.0Event Category: NoneEvent ID: 1001Date: 10/17/2004Time: 8:39:05 AMUser: N/AComputer: AMD2400Description:The description for Event ID ( 1001 ) in Source ( Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.0 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: 143551494.Data:0000: 42 75 63 6b 65 74 3a 20 Bucket: 0008: 31 34 33 35 35 31 34 39 143551490010: 34 0d 0a 4.. I keep reporting it to MS. The chief "clue" to your problem is here:"Description:The description for Event ID ( 1001 ) in Source ( Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.0 ) cannot be found."Clearly, your update did not complete properly, or the report would have been "9.1" and not "9.0..." :)Uninstall the update, replace the fs9.exe & all .dll files in the Modules folder, and then run the update again. When completed successfully, right-clicking on fs9.exe and all .dll files in the Modules folder should show Version "9.1.0.40901" in the Properties tab.
