In the last few weeks every time I resize my FSX window the graphics go crazy or all black. I have to then restart FSX. This also happens when I go to fullscreen. I think I updated to the latest Nvidia Drivers a few weeks ago. Could that be it? Thanks for your help!

Most likely high fsx and/or display driver settings.  The higher the settings, the harder it is for your hardware to render the graphics.  You will have to investigate the cause though. All systems and configurations are not the same. This doesn't happen to everyone and is a rare event.  If the problem started happening after you updated your video card, then maybe it IS the drivers but that would be hard for me to believe.  Sometimes, just renaming your FSX.cfg to FSX.orig then restarting FSX and letting the config rebuild will fix issues like this as it brings your fsx settings back to the default and it gets rid of potential bad tweaks and/or a bad setting.  It will tell you though where the cause occurred.

 

I see that you are new to AVSIM and you will find that members like to help out fellow members but you should post your system specs so we can see what you have running.  Maybe you have a laptop running at minimum requirements for running FSX/Acceleration.  Or maybe you just have FSX installed and not SP1 and SP2 OR Acceleration.  We don't know.  You can place your system specs in your AVSIM Profile like I did on the sidebar under My PC and My Sim.  You can also place the information in your signature (in the Profile), or you can indicate everything in your post.  But we need to know what you have installed.
