I search for some textures

Featured Replies

Hello,

I search

aihs125700.bmp

ailear.bmp

aigiv.bmp

And where to install these?

Thanks in advance

These sound like textures to some of the GA AI packages that were made, with respects to the Lear and (Gulfstream) GIV naming conventions. I'm also thinking the aihs125700 file is for a prop texture. May well be wrong, but it might give a clue as to where to look? UltimateGA put out a package for the Lear and Gulfstream, IIRC?

Those are texture names used by AI models created by Henry Tomkiewicz.

The ailear.bmp should have a model number in it such as ailear24.bmp.

You can download the base models at http://htai-models.com/

Those textures typically reside in a texture folder within an aircraft folder.

Just curious why you think you need them.

Joe

Hello,

"Just curious why you think you need them"

I have activayed the "ShowMissingTextureAlert=1" in FSX.cfg because I had scenery texture problems.

Now these scenery textures are OK but now I receive an error popup for the above 3 textures.

Sounds like you have a scenery that either has AI models converted to static objects or AI that are missing textures.

Try turning off all AI and see if you still get the alerts.

You can download the models from the link I posted and you will get textures that you can use, though they will probably be plain white liveries.

As for where to put them, unless you know what scenery is calling them, you can put them in the main Texture folder.

If you know what scenery is calling them you can put them in that scenery's texture folder.

You will have to pick a Lear and rename the texture,

regards,

Joe
