You may not get many requests for flattening, as the average user probably does not even know that possibility exists or what it is possible. And, I believe you would benefit greatly by including it, as IMHO the roads look dramatically better. What havent seen mentioned extensively so far, is the NUROADS2 scenery addon, which works with both FSgenesis and USA Roads, and in my opinion is an addon worth getting for either. Considering that the cost of American Data and NuRoads2 combined, is less than USA roads, my vote would be for the latter combination. Ive flown VFR following roads for distances of over 350 miles, and been able to fly from city to city using just a Road Atlas so the accuracy has been sufficient to find my destination. One major problem Ive always had with scenery, is rivers and streams which run uphills. With American Data at http://fsgenesis.net these corrections with flattening have been much more important to me than more accurate roads. Following the Coumbia River in OR/WA to the source, then following the Snake River from UT to the end, is a really pleasurable experience. Another favorite VFR flight with American Data Rivers, is following the Colorado River from Mexico to its source.... Particularly spectacular when flying through the Grand Canyon, with FSGenesis Grand Canyon Mesh, and Landclass...
