June 22, 201312 yr Anyone any idea how to fix this? It doesn't happen every time, so it's hard to know what might be wrong. I downloaded an aircraft for FSX GA flying (about all I do in FSX) from AVSIM - a Mooney Acclaim (a tweaked Mooney Bravo) - and it is nice pretty to fly, apart from one oddity: every so often, when I set the heading bug to fly in a certain direction and engage AP, the plane flies off in the opposite direction. The attached screenshot shows what I mean: I have set up to fly due north, but both the inset from my Plan-G map and the onscreen data shows that having turned on the AP, the a/c has turned to fly south instead. If I reload the aircraft, with no other changes, it turns north, so the error is with the plane I assume. Any ideas? Thanks, Martin Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
