Where in REX? I've never found an option for that.

 

Page 9 REX manual... FSX settings.

 

Disable turbulence and thermal effects on aircraft -

This option must be turned ON in order to prevent the inherent wind issues prevalent within FSX.

 

Rate at which weather changes over time -

In order to take full potential of the REX weather engine, this option should always be set to NO CHANGE.
