I agree. I think it would be great to have all types of aircraft in the game. I can picture it now, a Cessna crosses into the TFR or MOA and gets intercepted. He or she has the choice to comply or get blown out of the sky!

 

Also a lot of civilian aircraft have military variants. So why not make both.

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

I agree that DCS should be the platform for the next civil aviation simulator, however, realism is key for me. Would I mind flying through Nevada and seeing activity in the MOA? Sure, why not? But, if I'm flying down the glideslope in a 777, I don't need some knucklehead dropping cluster bombs on a convoy off my wing or blasting the terminal to pieces before I have a chance to taxi to the gate. It's just not real world.
