Messing around with detail levels, note the frame rate in RH corner.

I should of included Med Low and Med High Scenery because that is the difference between no building and buildings, which is 74fps, 23fps

 

It goes: minimum, max weather, ultrahigh traffic, max traffic, ultrahigh scenery, max scenery

too bad the frame rates suffer as the looks of the simulator really begin to shine for me only in the last two captures (ultrahigh scenery, max scenery) of your gif.
